On Wednesday 09/06/2017, members of Sussex GTF were contacted by Probation Officers from the Georgetown Probation Office in reference to Kevin Jesneck.  Probation Officers advised that they had responded to Jesneck’s registered probation address of 5 Columbia Ave Ocean View, DE 19970 to conduct a pre-approved administrative search.  Upon arrival, Probation Officers were met at the door by Christopher Ciriello.  When Ciriello opened the door, Probation Officers immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana.  Ciriello claimed that Jesneck was not present and immediately attempted to shut the door.  Probation Officers were able to enter the residence and located Jesneck hiding in a shower stall.  After the residence was secured, Probation Officers conducted an administrative search and located the following items:

• 1801.11 grams of marijuana
• 10 vials of TCH oil
• 114.83 grams of cocaine
• 6.72 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
• 48 30mg morphine pills
• Packaging materials, drug ledgers and digital scales
• $902.00 U.S. currency (suspected drug proceeds)

A follow up consent search was conducted on Ciriello’s vehicle which resulted in the seizure of an additional 2.94 grams of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia.  During post Miranda interviews, Ciriello identified Jesnick as his marijuana supplier and admitted to responding to Jesneck’s residence in order to purchase a quantity of marijuana.

Jesneck was charged with the following crimes:  PWITD cocaine in a Tier 4 quantity, possess cocaine in a Tier 5 quantity, PWITD marijuana in a Tier 2 quantity, PWITD morphine in a Tier 2 quantity, PWITD mushrooms, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia (x2).  Jesneck was also issued an administrative warrant for violation of probation.

Ciriello was charged with hindering prosecution and possession of marijuana.

Arraignments are currently pending.
