Delaware Probation & Parole and Wilmington Police Arrest Woman for guns and drugs.

On February 5, 2021, at approximately 8:05 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a vehicle stop on, 31-year-old Lamakika Williams. Following a brief investigation, officers discovered a loaded 9mm handgun, 4 Xanax pills, and a bottle of Promethazine with Codeine. Officers took Williams into custody without incident.

Williams has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic offenses:

Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
Possession of a Controlled Substance

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $21,200 unsecured bail.
