May 4th, 2016: Dover- On a cold and rainy day in Dover, law enforcement officers from around the state gathered on The Green outside Legislative Hall to pay homage to those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The service was highlighted by speakers from the FOP, DSTA, COPS, the State Legislature, Attorney General Matt Denn, and Governor Jack Markell. Probation and Parole was one of the many agencies represented at this solemn event. FOP Lodge 10 was also well represented by Brother Dennis Desilet; who participated in the event by helping read the names of officers who have passed on. Thanks to everyone who came out, but more importantly thanks to all those officers who have paid that eternal price!
