On October 8, 2016, 8 Lodge 10 officers participated in the 6th annual “Dewey Goes Pink,” a 5k in Dewey Beach, Delaware which raises funds for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The group, organized by Patricia DiJiacomo, included Faith Leies, Marihelen DiMatteo, Diana DeBenedictis, Tammy Jackson, Melissa Kearney, Andrea Sullivan and Lauren Press. Over 2,500 people participated in this year’s race, the largest turnout ever. In the 5 previous years, the event has raised over $220,000.00 for breast cancer research.
