Selbyville – Delaware Probation and Parole and Delaware State Police Sussex County Governor’s Task Force (GTF), a joint task force of Probation and State Police, have arrested three people after Probation Officers discovered heroin and an assault rifle.
On Monday January 30, 2017, officers from the Georgetown Office of Delaware Probation and Parole conducted a home visit on Brad Fosque, 38, at his home located on the 31000 block of Lighthouse Road, when they located an AR-15 rifle with two loaded magazines. Probation immediately contacted the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, to come and help secure the area and process any illegal contraband. Officers also made contact with another probationer, Phillip M. Smith II, 28, who was also in the residence.
After Probation Officers located the AR-15 rifle, they continued to search and located 655 bags (9.825 grams) of heroin hidden in a trash bag. While conducting the search, home owner, William Hudson, 26, returned to the residence and he too was arrested.
Probation turned all three offenders over to State Police, and they were transported back to Troop 4 where William Hudson was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 5 Quantity (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited Who Also Possesses a Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Drug Property, Conspiracy 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Brad Fosque was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 5 Quantity (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited Who Also Possesses a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Phillip Smith was charged with two counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited.
