On 6/27/2017, officers from the Sussex County office of Probation and Parole were awarded certificates of appreciation for their efforts in assisting the Dagsboro Police Department and Delaware State Police in a joint arrest operation.

On 3/17/2017, Delaware Probation and Parole Officers responded to Dagsboro Police Department’s request for assistance in apprehending a “frantic individual whose flight from justice and ongoing felonious conduct had exceeded two years.” Ultimately, the operation was a success, and the suspect was apprehended without harm to any of those involved.
